Starting with your very first call to American A.W.S. to the final installation, we are partnered together. The work completed in your home is a simple four-step process:
- Qualify: A 2-minute quiz is completed to ensure your home is eligible.
- Consult: We will identify the weak points in your house and design a solution that is the best and most cost-effective for you.
- Verify: We verify your upgrade plan either by a guided virtual experience to take the necessary photos and measurements or conduct a home visit with our certified contractor.
- Install: Installations take just a day or two most often.
Currently, we work on certain types of homes. Review our checklist to identify your eligibility:
- Single-family home (this can either be a stand-alone, or attached to other houses with a vertical wall like a townhouse.)
- You own the home and it’s your primary residence, in which you have lived for at least 9 months.
- The home is heated with natural gas, oil, or propane.

American A.W.S. looks at different factors to determine your energy savings. First, we compare your new bill to what your bill would have been if you’d made no upgrades. Second, we look at your last two years of energy use and compare it to the weather in your ZIP code over that same time period. Having this information will tell us how your house has used energy in the past so we can get a clear picture of how it’s saving energy now.
